All the dogs listed on this web site are full Boston Terriers. Any Boston owned by Island Bostons, is fully health tested, and vet approved before being bred. (NO EXCEPTION, we do not cut corners!) All the Boston Terriers are loved family pets first and foremost, we never put profit before the health and safety of our dogs. In fact, we have lost money on several occasions due to high vet costs, shipping, purchasing etc. This is truly a passion of ours, that we all love. We do not breed for show, color or exaggerated features. If we have any puppies, it is to promote the breed, to ensure the next generation is genetically healthy like their parents before them. We believe that without devoted breeders all of the purebred breeds we know and love today would die out. We are in no way a puppymill nor do we support that kind of breeding. We offer safe X-Pen area's in our family home to raise a litter. Our dogs do not live a life locked in a cage. They are let outside in a puppy area daily while we clean puppy pens (weather permitting) so they can run and play and enjoy the fresh air.

We have a zero tolerance for threats and bullies that HATE Breeders!! Not all breeders are bad or puppymills.
We meet all of the standards set out in the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association's "A Code of Practice for Canadian Kennel Operations". We are backed by a licensed veterinarian for offering nothing but outstanding care towards our dogs alone with multiple references. We have certification and diplomas as a professional animal care Aide, vet assistant, pet groomer, and have extensive knowledge, and professional experience in the animal industry, which is applied to the care of any pet while in our care.
We have never had any problems with any Local animal authorities or the Canadian kennel club.
We did have a lady try to discredit us and spread rumors several years back, and in the end she as banned for fraud from the Canadian Kennel Club for 10 years for doing the things she tried to discredit us for. Thank you to all the wonderful true friends that stood by us when we encountered this persons horrible manipulation tactics, while she play victim and blamed us for things we never did. In the end she was the person that was found guilty and lying right from the being.
